I seriously remember eating a really awful burger while watching Teen Angel years ago!

Interesting so far... it seems like a dummed down, crap version of SM:tv... similar format: on sofa, cartoon, on sofa, celeb guest, cartoon, competition...

I love the set which is big and spacious and I've always said that big sets are better because they have more impact.

Not too sure on the presenters because they're quite wooden together, but I'm giving them a chance seeing as this programme is aimed at the under 3s. I like Holly though.

I don't like the random characters or the Ministry people who have foam guns because (up to now) they've not really contributed anything worthwhile to the show. Altthough I supposed the unders 3s like them.

Don't like the opening titles which were really long and boring. The theme tune is pretty dire too and I hope they don't open every week singing it.

Well, that was a whole load of crap. The introduction was the most cheesy and annoying thing ever, Holly hasn't done much but in the part where she asked if it was her birthday she sounded about 3 years old, and the other presenters aren't too good either. The Ministry itself looks terrible too. I have a feeling this show is going to be a flop!

Yeah, they were hellishly long. The theme tune sounded like a crap version of Busted or Bink 182. They should re-make it with louder, more lively singers.

I don't know why producers put 'rock' songs as opening titles. It's dreadful and not something that 'wakes you up'. The Saturday Show's latest theme is good and so was SM:tvs up until the 2003 relaunch where they made it ... umm... more rocky.

...and when I was listening to the theme tune, I was thinking the exact same thing! "Isn't this a Busted song or something?"

Also, Holly is incredibly like Cat Deely with the 'blonde' act and I think she actually looks a bit like her too.

Just noticed, when they came back from the break, I didn't notice until she said "Welcome back" because the theme tune is so quiet.

I do like the set though, and it's growing on me.

Lots of things going wrong today too... the presenters keep getting cut off and everything. I don't think it's got the great live feeling to it - it's too scripted to be a ministry of 'mayhem'... and the cartoon they are showing is dire too.

...and is Calvin wearing the same top again? He always wears that green one.

I can't see this being a big success... not only is it rubbish but it's had next to no promotion at all. Maybe they're waiting for it to establish itself and then they'll tweak bits, and when they've got it just right they'll start a promotion blitz.

Not worth a new thread, but watching Dick and Dom for the first time in ages they did an opt-out with Scooby Doo on BBC One and Tazmania on the CBBC channel. Thought that was quite a nice feature

I could not even hear the song the music behind was so loud, With the song at the start of the show i hope they don't sing that every week. Its only there first week so maybe things will get better. Rolling Eyes

For a moment, I thought SM:tv had come back because they had the same sponsor!

I wonder how long these extras will stay on the show... it's going to be expensive to hire and extra 30 actors every week.

Meanwhile on the other side, I see they have Mr Bronson from Grange Hill being locked up in the baserment downstairs on Dick 'n' Dom.

Oooh... a live linkup 'via satellite' with the CD:uk studio... interesting that they're integrating the two shows.

Spongebob on later... *cough* SM:tv *cough*
