First time I heard Andy speak, I thought this bloke shouldn't be on the telly - he should be on radio.

I actually think he's not as patronising as Leah and Michael. However, he keeps such a straight face, totally relaxed and is talking very smoothly.

Why did you think that Michael & Leah were patronising?
On her own Leah was a bit. But I always enjoyed Michael's up for a laugh, jolly, happy attitude towards presenting it.

Where as Andy sounds like he's trying to put everyone asleep by talking relaxingly and very calmly & slowly.

I just don't find him patronising - just very wooden and plain.

You're very right - Angelica and Andrew are great as they have a laugh, but I've gone right off CBBC's crappy old studio and look.

I don't find him patronising. Perhaps he'll be better with another person, if ever the two do meet.

I'm not too sure that I'm liking the look anymore, they seemed to have ruined it from what they created last September. Bring back the bouncing letters. The shows aren't great either. Everyone today was either imported from another country, UK channel or both, or (miffy & friends) was a repeat. That's right, new year, new original shows Confused.

It was interesting to see that CBBC were still using their Christmas idents & graphics, even though their so called decorations had gone from the studio. Unless they are going to use them all winter.

The CBBC studio does need a refresh, as does CiTV, and both are relitively new.

Give him a break it was his first day, he was probably nervous. I hope you lot don't make your mind up about the Ministry so quickly or else it'll be 'Bring back SM:TV by 9.30am on Saturday!'

I thought it was a bit funny that he just appeared, I expected maybe Michael could have appeared and introduced him.

There did seem to be a lot of time for in-vision but that reason for that will be the ads. In the run up to christmas they are stuffed with lots of ads for toys, after christmas there isn't as much demand.

At least they've got rid of that 'Animates' trailer with the fat boy, not a good advert for CITV I don't think

So do we think we'll see Andy/Andrew again tommorow or someone else new?

And whats all this about him being from ITV2?

People on here used to say Andrew on CBBC on One was a bit wooden, so he's improved

I have made references saying that he was most probably nervous. I am hoping that we may get both presenters on tomorrow though. It's great that they have more time now, it's what they do with it that will count.
He just reminded me of Tim, and he didn't improve, but I hold my expectations high that he will, as I said, perhaps working with the other person will help him. I don't think it helps having Swag back on the monitors though, instead of live.

Not long till the ministry is on air. The organisation set to create mayhem on a saturday morning. I think I will like the ministry, even if no one else does. I liked the 2001 relaunched big breakfast, SM:tv in the early years, the 2000 L&K relaunch. Everything others dont basically. But all three Holly, Michael & Stephen are great presenters who can handle Live TV well. It's what they do on Live TV that will count. And for once they can't rely on Wonkey Donkey!

I don't know if anyone else had mentioned this, but the bellow is the content from the CiTV Newsletter.

Quote:
The Ministry of Mayhem is an organisation that exists to deliver fun and entertainment to Saturday mornings with live music, games, competitions and celebrity guests all in the pursuit of mayhem.

Tune into CiTV on ITV1 this Saturday at 9.25am when S Club 8 will be joining presenters Stephen Mulhern, Holly Willoughby and Michael Underwood for the first live show, plus there'll also be a fantastic Ministry of Mayhem website to explore, too! Watch this space for more details!
