I get ministry of mayhem when I press 4! Perhaps you should do a hard refresh?

Not sure what's happening? Now I don't get Peter Pan as the first promo, I get The Sleepover Club, which I thought was a good sign! However, I still have Beat the Cyborgs at number 4!! Very weird. The annoying thing is I really want to see the MoM Promo! Mad

That's really strange!

Perhaps you should e-mail CiTV? They should reply quite quickly - there very good when it came to my questions.

I don't find different countrys joining up for kids productions very good - it's somewhat un-realistic.

I hated Timmy Mallet and the Chuckle brothers. Chucklevision is most certainly not as popular as it used to be, thats why it's moved to CBBC mornings so early and why CBBC channel have it on when kids are at school - there seen as total naff by the kids.

I loved Nick AM! In my opinion, I much preffered Matt Brown doing it to Miek McLean. The best presenter on Nick AM - was the first, I forget his name now though! He presented The Big Breakfast when he left Nick and was one of there first presenters.

Why do you find them unrealistic? Aren't they better value for money? As each company puts in half of what they would have put in themselves? Some things are good British. But if CiTV are looking for an escape route I'd prefer to see more joint ventures with different production companies than the CiTV name wiped dor an itv Disney, or Nick itv. And what would we gain from that? Stripped schedules again, the same shows everyday of the week? More imports than ever? And the lose of a well known, well loved brand that's been around for 21 years.
I wouldn't mind if they just joined them so that each side put in half of the money towards producing programmes and both channels show the programmes.

I do sort of agree with your point on the chuckle brothers, I can see why kids may not like them. Though they are still going strong, and filling theatres on tour. And unless you were in a children in the timmy mallet era (and were a happy wild child then) then you wouldn't know and like Timmy Mallet.

Wasn't Mike McClean the first presenter of nick am? Mike McClean then went to present the Big Breakfast alongside Amanda Byram & Richard Bacon (and Liza Rogers for the last bit!). I can't think of any others, unless you mean.... (DUM, DUM, DUM!!!!) RICK ADAMS!?

Rick Adams was the first on Nick AM

It is definately Ministry of Mayhem on screen 4, I listed what's on each screen earlier in this post.

It's really odd because on my friend's computer all the promos are new year ones but on mine they are all old ones! Confused

I'll contact the CITV moderator and see if it can get sorted!

How wierd. How seriously wierd.
It's a shame that this is the last episode of seriously wierd as I am just getting into it.
It seems that a lot of the new stuff is aimed at the 7ish age group, which is why we're getting bernard's watch, and the sleep over club next week.
There seems to be nothing aimed at over tens, or start of high school lot., like seriously wierd, girls in love, and old dramas.
Perhaps they should try a CiTV 2 slot where older programmes, not teen, but shows that can be enjoyed by teens, kids and the whole family.

It's a shame, the new CITV line-up does really look like it's being aimed at under-10s which is a shame. Virtually everything someone older might want to watch is missing, even Sabrina isn't there. The only thing in that schedule that I'll be watching are the Angry Beavers. Though let's be glad that All Grown Up isn't back for its umpteenth re-run, though Nick have comissioned 22 more episodes, so we should be seeing those in the enxt few months.

I'm surprised about some of the programmes. More suprised at the amount of repeats, imports and nick shows in the line up. I have only spotted the Sleepover Club, Sooty, Brilliant Creatures and Bernard's Watch that are new and own commissions.
Though Brilliant Creatures & Sooty are new series, Bernard's Watch has been done before (even though this looks better, it's still be done before), and the sleepover club is based on a series of books. Beat the Cyborgs is a continuing series, and teen angel is an import and was made in 1997!
Other shows include spongebob squarepants - nick show and possibly repeats, angry beavers - nick show, jimmy neutron - nick show, rosie & jim - if not a repeat, its another reused idea, teen angel

The only thing i'm looking forward to is the ministry of mayhem.

I'm surprised that Sabrina isn't included, especially if they have paid for terrestrial rights to the series, then only showing half would be stupid. So perhaps they are going to continue the series on the ministry of mayhem.

It is really irratating that CITV have lowered their target audience. This means that some of the good programmes (such as Knightmare - anyone remember it?) would not be able to return to CITV.

Personally I think that they need to raise their target audience (to 13 +), else they will end up targetting only 3 year olds.

Actually, as CiTV get more and more into the new episodes of As Told By Ginger - they certainly are for older kids.

I don't think Pirate Islands is much for younger kids either, it certainly has an essence of teen in it too, even if it is a pirate adventure.

At least I can still watch CBBC. As long as there's ChuckleVision, there's still something they have worth watching.
