Timmy Mallet was around when I was young and I really hated him.
I used to love Power Rangers when I was younger, then got into it again a year or two ago and now don't think much of it. Ninja Storm is brilliant - I love the fact that there are 3 rangers.
Will it stay up forever promoting the last ever show - or will it redirect to the MOM website - much like the old live and kicking site ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/kicking ) used to redirect to the Saturday show site. Personally I'd like to see the SM;tv site back to the old version with the wonkey donkey and Challenge ant games back uo
I think the Live & Kicking site only redirected as they were both BBC made shows, and BBC made websites, so it made sense to save space to have one replace the other.

Well three to start with. Then there are the thunder rangers that appeared in the last sneaky peak episode yesturday. Though on the titles you see all of their zords joining together, so perhaps they do a Tommy & come away from the dark side.
It is an excellent new series. It's going back to its roots and to basics, focussing not only on the powers, weapons, enemies & monsters, but also on the lives of the rangers, and their hobbies, like we used to see Kimberly doing gymnastics, Zack dancing, Billy playing with gadgets, Jason doing Karate, and Trini, doing that strange thing with her arms.
I think it could be to do with a different production company taking over as it was made in New Zealand.
To other news. Check out www.citv.co.uk They now have Swag in the long strip on the homepage. And have updated the 5 screens with new trailers for the new year.
1. The Sleep over Club
2. Bernard's Watch
3. Toons at 3:30
4. A short clip that I think is a short teaser promo for the ministry. Where a lightning bolt is attacking the blackpool tower. A ministry spokeperson says "The future's bright, the future's Saturday's!"
5. Hey Arnold
Should I rename this thread? And if so what to? Simply the CiTV thread, or the CiTV & Ministry of Mayhem thread?
I'm happy to have the MoM thread I started a short time ago closed if you re-name this one CITV and Ministry! Makes sense cause this thread has been running for a while now!!
PS Just checked out CITV website but it still has the old promotions on the five screens?!
They probably are going for a low key launch, the bigger the hype surrounding it, the higher peoples expectations become, then the bigger the backlash. A low key launch is probably for the best, if it isn't that good to start off with. they can work on it and give it time to settle in and gain an audiance. sm:tv had quite a low key launch and with the lack of promotion so far it seems to me itv are hoping MoM will become a word of mouth hit as it goes along, which in itself is a good sign that they'll give it time again and not just axe it after afew bad reviews and initial poor ratings. I hope that's the plan anyway
It took a year for SM:TV to become what we all know & love anyway, the early editions are sadly largely forgotten about, though I still think that they were still good, even if they didn't have what made the show such a sucess (and being up against Zoe & Jamie on L&K didn't help). I won't be suprised to see MoM getting off to a similar shaky start to SM:TV before tweaking to get it right. TBH I won't be suprised to see it morph into a SM:TV clone, especially if as we are saying it might be a clone of Dick & Dom. That won't last, not everyone likes that format, IMO it stinks.
imo it won't "morph" into sm:tv, it already
will
be sm:tv, there was a quote from a magazine previewing the final sm:tv afew weeks ago (iv forgot which one) which went
"a spokeswoman for itv said, ministry of mayhem wil be very
similar to sm:tv..." from the very start we were told this new show would include live music, sketches and guests ect.. that's more sm:tv then Dick & Dom, why is everyone assuming it will be like Dick & Dom just because the title has "Mayhem" in it?? mayhem could just as easily describe sm:tv, or live & Kicking
I don't turn my sound on! I was wondering what that promo was because it had really awful writing that I couldn't read. I saw the word "Ministry", but thought it would be another word.
