Found a site of that old friday show called "Mad For It" - http://www.carltontv.co.uk/data/madforit/index.html
Didn't Yolly used to present it?

Anyone seen ads for the new Bernard? It looks SO different! Looks more modern, then the old fashioned way it was.

The old fashioned way with Liza Goddard narrating?

Yolly presented series one which ran from around june/july 1998 to march/april 1999. Along with Mike McClean. This was on a wednesday afternoon at 4:30, with Top Ten from Sept 98 on a friday. When Mad for it returned in January 2000 (it took over from the 2nd series of the top 10) on friday afternoons it was presented by Dannielle Nicholls, and Mike McClean, with Nigel Mitchell co presenting later in the series. This came from Carlton's Nottingham studios.

Nigel's an awful presenter, I really do hate STUDIO Disney. I admit that Nigel, Mark and Emma work well together - but no one take this as a sort of racist comment, they've recently employed two girls, one of which is chinese and another who is african black. They have no personality and I seriously fealt like they were employed to try and match up to CBBC, CiTV and Nick's presenters having a bit of diversity.

I really hope one of those CiTV presenters is not that guy from that Cyborgs series - i HATE him.

What Mark Speight? Who presents SMart for CBBC, and was Scratchy on Scratchy and Co.?

Now I like Nigel Mitchell. I didn't when he was on Mad for it, but I like his quirkyness, his dont care attitude, and the fact that he's great at adlibbing and live tv. Studio Disney makes it through around 45 minutes of live links with barely no script at all. There are features that they do, and stuff that they have to read out, but most of it is improvised.

Nigel & Emma are great presenters. Which is funny as I didn't used to like either of them. Mark annoys me though. I don't know why, there is just something about him.

I don't like the two new girls either. Ollies a bit over the top, but is good at what he does, jean is a good presenter, and amie was. Though she might have gone, or be in panto somewhere. I believe the girls are just filling in over christmas.

That's it! Amie must be in Panto, thats why she's gone. She's done panto before and is a performer.

Don't you find STUDIO Disney rather dull? Phone-ins talking about school dinners of all things!

Nigel is actually quite lucky, he was on work experience and got to fill in whena presenter was sick, then he got a job on Nick and then went onto launch Disney Live with Jemma.

Even though I'm getting more and more angry at Nick's awful scheduling, I can't resist to tune into Nick L8R as the presenters can have such a laugh.

Bernards mum asked him if he was ok.
"Are you ok Bernard?"
Bernard replied, 'Yes I am OK'.
"Yes, I am OK."
Bernard's mother though that was good.
"I think that it's good..."
...said Bernards mum.

A dire programme.

Fair enough...point taken! Wink

What will happen to your region once we all become ITV PLC? Surely shows like Puffin's Pla(i)ce will come to an end?

Yes although I doubt Kevin would move from Jersey to Birmingham. (Where? Birmingham!)

Not necessarly as Channel show it because there's not much regional news. Whereas we get a 10 min bulletin at 3pm, they get about 5 mins of news and 5 mins of Puffin.

LoveTV!!
I was wondering if the episode where the three presenters of CiTV who take part in Jungle Run will ever be shown because Leah is in it? If Leah is leaving will it be shown?

Oh! One more thing, will they repeat Chums on CiTV?? If they do this (PLEASE!!) I hope will show it from very beginning to the end.

P:S:: If they bring presenters back I hope they change the studio!

Mike McClean he was great as a kids presenter, I think he was best on "Nick Am" and then they scrapped all that. Thoses shows where good on CiTV "The Top Ten Of Everything" "Mad For It" and "Out of Sight" now its all Nick's shows on CiTV so if they do get the channel what will they show? Laughing
