Did anyone see CiTV this afternoon; put it on and before art attack Michael was on about the weekend, saying that on smtv theyve got a big announcement or something! I dont know what this is about; or if thats what he actually said!

Yeah, I heard that too. I wasn't paying much attention at the time, but I got the impression he was talking about one of the guests on SMTV having big news?

I wonder why Brian is leaving? I bet on the hush hush he's been told to go, cos lets face it, he's not exactly got a future in his other show 'Brian's Boyfriends'. Its not going to get a second series. Has anyone seen it?? Its a strange show, but good for late night tv.

Tess had had 5 weeks holidays this year and Brian hasn't had any , so maybe he is going to take them now ! His contract was due out in August anyway, and he didn't wish to renew it . Also he has work lined up with the Irish station RTE. Click Here!
Brian's Boyfriends was commissioned for late night TV and is actually achieving its potential viewing figures.

Leah and Michael should get the slot. They are such a fab team on CiTV, and didnt Michael win that competition to be a childrens presenter on a bbc programme?

I think it's time for SM:tv to go.

Launch a new more family orientated show for Saturday mornings (BBC1 go for the younger kids) and move CD:UK to an early evening slot on Saturday night - possibly replacing Blind Date.

I have to agree and disagree there, if SM:tv does get cancelled or gets some form of revamp, CD:UK should be kept but should be moved, it would be a good chance to revamp it, by dropping the look that it is associated with SM:tv Live, it does need a new look. Now a teatime show would be a good idea, around 5.30pm I assume. But I would see it going well in a later slot, not as late as Hotshots goes out, but they really need to drop the association that is is heavily linked with a children's programme, though it isn't a part on CITV on a saturday morning. I rarely do watch SM:tv now, for many reasons, like I am never up early on a saturday morning, it isn't and it won't be ever good as it will be and I seem to have watched repeats of Friends on Channel 4 too, which go out at the same time. But CD:UK is a show which ITV should keep and work on, work for a more teenage audience. I don't know about the rest of you but I would prefer it went out sometime later, or wait until The Premiership ends in 2004, it could go out at 10.30pm or 11.00pm. As I'd know that I would watch it at that time.
