Prehaps they are scared that Dick and Dom would pinch any good ideas they had. After all since MoM stole the Supermarket Sneak idea Dick and Dom have kept quiet about new games (eg. 'Dirty Day').

If it is going to be really different its strange they have kept it so secret.
If it was just going to be a name change with a few minor changes I could understand it, but the reports seem to say its a completely different programme

I've just read some interesting news from a user at the MOM beards at IMDB.
Hmmm, I hope this is true as it could explain why they didn't say it was the last ever MOM and kept saying "for the last time in 2005".
What does everyone else make of this?

Okay, Ministry of Mayhem is currently on hiatus due to low budgets around CiTV which is also why the CiTV presentation team was axed because it costs about £10 per link now. Anyway, MoM will return later on in 2006 but for the time being, Holly and Stephens Saturday Showdown is launching. Want to know whats in it? Okay, here we go ....
Holly and Stephen film from home where they get 6 children to go into their house and play games and effectively win prizes. No celebrities and no studio audience. That sounds familiar ..... Anyway, best of luck to Holly and Stephen

They've made it up, based on that single 'Dick and Dom' rumour and then added a bit of other stuff no doubt based on a load of rumours treat as facts on Digital Spy

One reliable fact...
The show will involve boys vs girls.
...this piece of info is being gained via the current poll on the CiTV website.
The talk about "MoM will return later on in 2006" is somewhat misleading as it is probably being written by those not away that Saturday Showdown is still technically Ministry of Mayhem, despite the onscreen name suggesting otherwise. I think it's best to take anything said on the MoM or Dominc Woods' forums with a pinch of salt for now.

I don't know something tells me it's going to be a Dick and Dom rip, and I hate Dick and Dom so I hope it's not.
I hope MOM will return if this is going to be another show as Doc, Mr Lee and the gang were great. One time we went out with college and someone said a guy on the Bond flim looked like Mr Lee and it made me laugh that people in college watch the show.
