I loved that but then CBBC had to go and spoil it all with the blue peter roadshow which soon turned into CBBC on the road and XChange also coming from the same stage

I don't see much point of Showdown Extra at the moment, i thought it would be like Saturday Show Extra and show some stuff behind the scenes and instead they use most of that time showing new episodes of Atomic Betty Rolling Eyes

Did someone fix it so Holly wouldn't get gunged at the end of the show last week or did they forget to remove the bit that lets the gunge go through as Stephen had to remove it when they did gunge her!.

I personally think that they should have tots programmes on in the morning to offer an alternative to the audience, rather than just the programme within Showdown, and then continue with Extra for longer.

As for the tank, I think the chain is supposed to open up the hole to gunge the people, though it obviously didn't so Stephen had to go and open it himself.

Does anyone have any behind the scenes pictures of the Showdown flat, such as off the Chantelle living the dream programme? I was trying to work out where the flat would be located in the MoM studio? And what is the view out of the window in the flat? I can remember a while ago someone had a link to a picture of Don Austen, does anyone have that link?

Anyway, great show last week, it is slowly getting better, but again Extra would be better with behind the scenes stuff, or if the doc was on, and no Atomic Betty! I think as long as Egor is on they don't really need the doc aswell, but they could maybe change between the two each week.

There's a few pics of Scratch (Donald Austen) here http://www.lees-people.co.uk/search/detail.jsp?details=422

Never seen him out of costume before.

No. Egor is Don Austen- AKA Scratch.

I've noticed they've started to make Egor a permanent feature he was standing behind the counter shouting "go on ray" during Ram Ray as well as walking around the studio at random points of the show.

They most probably have him dressed up ready now so that he can just pop up and operate scratch too.

I wonder if we're ever going to see Sniff again (bar Dodge Dolly's Balls, which isn't live).

It is very strange. I'd agree that Scratch, or Don was the best, but saying that, it doesn't mean that Sniff wasn't great. They work best as a double act.

Though thinking about it, didn't he take a year out on Live & Kicking, when they introduced Shamrock to the equation, only to return the following year.

Yes, he did. He also left Wolf It towards the end, and was replaced by Dave Chapman (the bloke behind Otis the Aardvark).
