Why do so many people think MOM will come back?

Saturday Showdown is made by the same production team, in the same studio and with the same presenters. Why on earth would they bring it back after working on a new show. That kind of thing would only lead to the formats becoming mixed up and confussed.

Agreed there. But Saturday Showdown does look like a cost cutting exercise. And I don't agree that they're in the same studio, else surely they'd use it all, not just a bit. Especially for the fact that they use a door into the actual studio is used as a door into the flat (the one at the back).

A great Saturday Showdown yesturday, nice to see Sniff back in the flat this week. Its very strange how like yesturdays show when Ray was Ramming the heart that they didn't use the Ram Ray music, or Holly couldn't really mention it. Similarily on the first show when the hyenas kept saying Mom's the Word. Very strange, as they're made/were made by the same company.

As for those MoM titles, nice find. Wierd seeing them without the presenter pictures in the shop window and ministry building, and the end logo form up. Plus the different lyrics (even though I can't work the line out), and lack of sound effects is wierd.
And what a theme tune that was, and a brilliant set of titles, a shame that they changed them.

On to CiTV, interesting article appearing in media guardian today http://media.guardian.co.uk/mediaguardian/story/0,,1708203,00.html

especially the part that says...

'CiTV will be on air between 6am and 6pm. Compared to the BBC's children's channels, it will be noisy, anarchic - the buzzword is mad - a return to the kind of brash children's ITV of more than a decade ago when it was run by Dawn Airey.'

It was nice hearing the crew laughing again, on the first show it was too quiet and it made the studio seem empty. I dont think they're in the same studio as MOM or the flat would have space for performances and a place for a studio audience.
I guess that at the beginning of the show when everyone started to laugh and Holly not knowing why, was this because they used the fart sound effect again?

No-one's answered my question about the MPAA auditions! I would like to know about them.

It's on page 19.

To me that lyric sounds like "Punk rock aliens are back again"
Could this version be a rough cut of the titles before they decided on the final words?

that's because no-one knows. Is this going to be your new obsession, seeing as you haven't posted about titles for several weeks?

I can confirm that this is the case, after week 12 (last week in March) it is no longer mentioned. So either ITV Sales have forgotten to list it or it means that Saturday Showdown is soon coming to a end. Interestingly they've updated the AB-lists to change "Ministry of Mayhem" to "Saturday Showdown".

But it still says Presented by Michael Underwood, Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern and it still has the original MOM logo under Saturday Showdown

What was the name of song when they had Ray in the Crazy Frog outfit when Snowy was going after him?.

Yes - Sniff wasn't there AGAIN this week.

There is definately something going on and some part of the show is definately recorded.

The whole show could be live with dodge dollys balls as a pre-recorded feature

or

The whole show is recorded with dodge dollys balls as a live insert.

Chantelle was on T4 the same time that she was on Showdown - She gets everywhere lol.
