CITV on ITV1 Thread

why can't they just put 3 or 4 presenters in a flash studio with a studio audience, some good games, a GOOD BAND THAT ONLY CAN PLAY LIVE and call-ins

please dont jazz it it up by using the ITS DIFFERENT HONEST thing by putting it in a flat, Bungalow, Wardrobe, CAravan anything

P.S. i think the funniest thing on saturday morning tv was when the saturday show started with Joe MAce and Danni Bear. Does anyone remember when they did the harry potter sketck in the air on broomsticks

Earlier this evening it was showing ITV4, but when I've just checked, it is showing the usual CITV logo with 'the new CiTV channel - coming soon' written beneath.

As for the Saturday Showdown, part of me actually thought that maybe the smaller set is because they're not in Maidstone at the moment, maybe they're somewhere in London, maybe even at Elstree due to their Saturday Night commitments. Wouldn't this also explain the different phone number and lack of address within the show up to yet?

As for Saturday Showdown I'm guessing it's being pre-recorded, as Dick and Dom have been mentioning "Live" quite a bit this morning as well as "live, not pre-recorded".

why has CITV had some mant buget cuts over the past thourgh years it becoming a joke!

but I bet ten pound that Live prestenters will be back by Late 2007 as in januray 2008 it will be 25th years old.

I thought this weeks show was a much of an improvement than the last two weeks. You could hear the crew again, Wallace seems to of vanished for good. Pumping on your stereo was back this week, all they need is someone like Mr.Lee to hand Stephen the songs.It felt like MOM this morning except with a different name.

I also thought this weeks show was much better, and if there was the doc or mr lee it would be great. I loved the bit when Stephen was swinging the manakin around pretending it was Holly, bashing it off everything (like Bonnie banging her head on Dancing on ice), the show was much funnier and I liked Snowy's kennel. They should also give the 2 teams proper buzzers like on the stereo quiz to make it easier to see who buzzes in first. I'm looking forward to next weeks show now.

Does anyone know the name of the track that was played during Double Trouble on MOM through-out 2005? Its the rock peice of music where they were telling you who was who and what the game was all about.

Does anyone know if the Ministry Of Mayhem will return or is Saturday Showdown now a permanent fixture?
I really hope the Ministry Of Mayhem will return and will play the full theme tune at the start and end of each shows with The Doc at the drums (always made me laugh) and Mr Lee's dancing (again hillarious) with Stephen and Holly doing the dance moves. That really was a great start to the Ministry, so lively and entertaining! Much better than the dross they started it with in 2005 (what a crap version of the theme!)

Anyway, I really hope the new CiTV Channel will be airing old Ministry Of Mayhem's on weekend afternoons as they really were great (before 2005). I'm also hoping for Weirdsister College, 24 Seven, Fun House, It's a Mystery, Finders Keepers (original), Sabrina, Top 10 of Everything, Pump It Up, Mike and Angelo, old SM:TV Live, Chums, Woof, The Rotton Trolls, Matts Millions and lots more to be featured on the channel.

I know "Finders Keepers (original)" is still owned by SMG so I doubt that will be geating aired on new CITV channel

Probably not, but that doesn't mean they can't buy them you know. Although having said that I doubt ITV would want to show alot of old programming (although I think they should go for the cult approach myself).

I'd like the same [apart from 24Seven,The Rotten Trolls and not sure about It's A Mystery] with the addition of the old Worst Witch,Zzzap!,Press Gang,Mad for it,Old Art Attack,The Big Bang,The Quick Trick Show,Big Meg Little Meg,Old Bernard's Watch,Children's
Ward,Old Jungle Run,Old MPAA,maybe Reboot,maybe Pirate Islands,
Old Sooty [preferrably from Matthew's last series till 2004 Sooty,which was probably the end of all Sooty!]

Anyway how pants is this new saturday showdown. I liked MOM but I just don't bother anymore. Shame the doc and mr lee was the best part.
