For those who wants to know who Scratch's puppeter looks like there's a picture of him on this website Don Austen Look in the TV appearances section.

I'm still trying to get my head around the bit with Holly doing that phone-in game as her granny (the keep the puppet out of the way of the mothballs thing). They must have pre-recorded the bits either side of that so that as Holly was in shot in the pieces either side of that.

I think most shows would have just had Stephen doing the bits either side on his own until Holly had got out of that costume rather than messing about with pretty elaborate pre-recs.

This Week show was a bit better than last weeks one they had done a slight change to the title music and add brakes also they have repainted the side of the stair case

Week 1 was wood colour

Week 2 below red with yellow

They could have used Peter Cocks to play the Granny as he did play the Part of a Tea lady with Woody Taylor on the Saturday Morning show Called WOW on ITV in 1996

I've not seen this show, but from those caps, the set looks very similar to Xchange about two years ago.

As everyone keeps going on about Peter Cocks, could it have been his decision to do something different. I doubt they would have turned him away, and still kept Ray.

Anyway... this week's show was better than last weeks, if it was only due to the fact that you could hear the crew again.

I did notice the difference to the title music, and sting (why is there only one, surely they could use the different parts of the titles for break stings). They've added something and I don't know what it is, is it a "Come On", or just a random sound. It's brought it up a bit though.

To me, they're missing something immediately after the titles, even if it's a speeded up version of the theme tune as they enter and run around the place, it would be better than just walking through the door.

I'm still not sure why they changed the programme, surely it's cost a lot just to create a new programme that could have just been spent on keeping MoM.

I did like the new features of the games. Grannies balls game was bizzarre as it seemed to be pre recorded (as Sniff didn't feature in any other part of the programme), yet the game was about phone callers controlling what they saw. Very confusing.

The 'Pumping On Your Stereo' game was a nice reinvention of Name That Tone, and added something to the end of the show that was missing last week.

I don't understand why they went for an appartment set for the series, a random set could have used the space more freely.

The programme is getting better, though as I also watched Dick & Dom (Sky+ed) with Brian Conley, they were two different leagues.

I noticed it was the same cheer they used at the start of the show, that they used on CiTV when it was in the studio.

Are you sure the rest of the show was not pre recorded, and that was the only live part?

I felt that it felt the other way around, as though the game felt pre recorded and the show felt live.

With Holly and Stephen both busy on the Ice though it's quite possible it was all pre-recorded.

I didnt notice any change to the title music this week i'll play it again and have a look. Its still missing a studio audience, even if the place is small to have an audience i dont see why they cant have some kids standing around the living room and kitchen while they play the games.

Supermarket Sneak was funny last week im liking that game even more every week.

Estelle Hughes seems to like Shuriken School...

her comments are here

It also says the series will air on Jetix in the UK.
Well, that's any and all respect for Estelle Hughes gone down the pan now isn't it? I haven't see this much mock use of any and all anime conventions just outside of that sence in Legend of the overfiend since the ever.

I realy hope Starurday Showdown gets eaten by Dick and Dom adn any futre replacement cause at the moment this is a very very side poc we're dealing with.

Anyone who likes shuriken school needs to be sorted out 'cause they are the sorta people who make Our Cartoon Network look like a joke when compared to the US orgional.
