One question that I have been pondering since my last post in this thread is...
If ITV say that they can no longer make money from Childrens programmes then why do they still own Cosgrove Hall and they make programmes (mainly cartoons!!!!!!!!) for the other networks and still come back with a healthy profit for ITVplc!!!

Fremantle/RTL own the back-catalogue of programmes, from Cosgrove Hall, from during the whole on of the Thames franchise - bar a couple of series made for Granada! (Cosgrove Hall is based in Manchester!!!). Anglia then bought it from Thames in the became part of UNM. UNM then sold their interest in ITV, along with Cosgrove Hall to Granada (GMG). then GMG merged with Carlton - hey presto up to present day.

So since the fall of Thames ITV in one way or another has/still owns Cosgrove Hall

Cosgrove Hall is based in Chorlton, Manchester. Hence why the name Chorlton and the Wheelies was chosen....

There was an excellent documentary on ITV Granada a couple of years ago (narrated by David Jason) about the Studios.

And that when such content is included, usually, it is treated in a juvenile way.
