Well they take the C ITV name. This still has reference to ITV, so i don't see what would be wrong with CITV on ITV 1 as far a SMG are concerned. However if they are going to rebrand CITV on ITV 1, i would brand it CITV1, or CITV on 1.

Well, it's certainly better than the one in the Mocks section...

Umm, not so sure, I'd hope they'd bring on board the ITV branding, much as the CBBC/BBC logos are intergrated.

I would like to see them adopt a name like "ITV kids"

I imagine trailers having a bottom-right-hand-corner logo in the usual ITV style (except, say, with "Kids" written in a "kiddie" font ). I've picked purple for the sake of picking a colour different from the other ITV channels.

In the closing seconds of the ident, the bottom-right-hand-corner logo would slide left a bit, to reveal one of two suffixes - either "channel" or "on ITV1", so that by the time time the trailer endcap appears, the written TX information is utterly accurate.

naa, CiTV has been around since the 90's unless you count it as one "Childrens ITV".

The new logo has just been shown on ITV1 during a trailer for the new channel.

I notice on www.itv.com/citv there's a countdown to the launch of the new channel. Underneath it says Freeview Channel 75, with no reference to any other platform.

Anyone else feel another 'will it launch on Sky' debacle coming on again?

its horrible, its a navy blue C with the corporate ITV logo at the bottom of the curve, the whole thing is in a triangle.

I noticed it launches at 9.25
