I thought todays show was brilliant and a really good ending to the whole series. The Doc was really funny, especially when he told the boy that he had spoilt the experiment for everyone, when he dropped the sweets! Cakey Sk8 was also great, why couldn't they have done that every week?

Still such a shame it has now ended, but it had a great send off! Very Happy

Just as when the show was starting to get good it had to end. It was nice to see clips from MOM but most of the clips in the montages were from Saturday Showdown.

In Pumping on your Stereo, Holly refered to a clip with McFly in it from "MOM Series 1" Also it was nice to see the credits at the end of the show they seemed to of had a big production team which is probably we didnt see the credits before.

We probably shouldn't ask too much about...

I suspect the credits may have been from the entire duration, hence the large amount.

Does anyone have any clips of the show? Would like to see any montage package and end credits they did.

Cheers

Just as they cut to the showdown break bumper you can hear Stephen giggle "oh no" when the shot is on the doctor and Ray.

I've just found a S-Video socket on my laptop so i hope i'll be able to capture some clips later on.

I think you'll find that socket's an output, not an input.

They did an item called Showdown or no Showdown, where Holly and Stephen had to answer questions about Saturday Showdown

I'm a little confused..I know Saturday Showdown and most kids programmes will be dramatically reduced on ITV1 but what about CITV Channel, there will be no saturday shows on that?

No more Saturday morning children's magazine shows from ITV - for the foreseeable future on any of its channels.

They are cutting their noses off - if they don't have programmes to entice children to watch their channels then they are going to lose even more viewers in the future. Do Shaps and Allen really want to completely destroy a true British Institution (and once the greatest commercial network in Europe) all for the sake of some very greedy shareholders who kow nothing about the television industry and just see short term £ signs rather than the long term future (which would actually equate to even more £ signs - or euros if we have them by then - than in the short term gain.

They used specially adapted titles and break stings yesterday

They did a video version of Pumping on your Stereo using old peformances from MoM

Mr Lee brought the tape in
http://www.hillyard22.freeserve.co.uk/finalshowdown14.jpg
and the videos were scrambled with added VT clocks and stuff

Ram Ray was funny, Ray smashed through the Doc's shelves where a load of chemicals were kept
http://www.hillyard22.freeserve.co.uk/finalshowdown16.jpg
and reappeared as a full sized man.

There was also lots of innuendo, particularly from the Doc. There would have been complaints, had the show been on ITV1 and it not being the last one!

I guess this is a end of a era, it's absolutely sad seeing how greed can destroy a once respected network.

Looks like the full size man in Ram Ray was Puppeteer Don Austen - Scratch's Puppeteer.
