I hoped there were new episodes of sooty.
They need to reinstate sooty somewhere along the line.

I don't think so. This guy has been appearing on the channel for the past few weeks along with Tim. I presume that Tim is on holiday at the moment, so the bits that are his voice are pre recorded ages ago.
Now that it's on Sky I would like to see the channel improve. Such simple scheduling like having tots programmes on 6-11:30 on Saturdays so that the older children watch the older programmes on ITV1, and showdown and then can flip over to watch the whole day of programming. Sometimes I think that they inherit the audience from ITV1 to the channel, but get rid of them when tots programmes come on at 12.

Since this is now the Showdown thread i'll post what i posted in the other thread here
I think todays show was one of the best they've done for a long time. Stephen getting the giggles during the fast food item, the Skillz guy falling over, numerous references to Saturday Cooks (well not the actual show but "cooking shows on a saturday morning") and the man himself who's name is too long to bother typing. Did anyone else find this weeks show better than previous shows?
And did anyone else notice that Holly had changed halfway during the show?

Thanks for that
Good for them being a bit cheeky I say, it's all money money money with ITV. I know this has always had to be the case to some extent because they're obviously a commercial broadcaster, but at some point someone (goes by the name of Shaps, a little bird on top of Kent House told me) got
very
greedy and axed everything in his sights which didn't supplement his and his cronie's wage packets. Hey, I would'nt be surprised if Corrie got itself into the state it did a few years back (like every soap goes through once in a while - arguably Eastenders has been there a lot recently) and he even gets rid of that! If there's not enough money, Shaps isn't interested. Sod the viewers must be ITV policy for the 21st century.
I have no doubt Holly & Stephen will go onto great things though - maybe they could even do a new show with the makers of CDUK (and specialists in Saturday morning telly themselves) for Five and make that the new place to be every week from around 9am
They make a fab pairing, have great chemistry, are very funny and are absolutely lovely in real life too

Holly said while they were doing the Hyena watch sketch "Watching Hyena's is better than watching cooking shows on a saturday morning" and when they had Ray dressed up as a woman Ray said "You wouldnt see Anthony Warrell Thompson dressed like this"
Thanks for that
