AS said, it was very strange to see the GMTV programmes branded as CITV. Though as it looks that they're going to be controlling the 6-925 slot on the channel daily, it would make sense, as to not confuse the kids with two seperate channels in one.
The dog seemed to have moved slightly too.
Hopefully ITV1 have it fixed for tomorrow, but don't London add on the dog and break bumpers on a Saturday?
I didn't click into what had happened until I thought about it.
I thought that it only affected certain regions, I presume it's down to Setana Sports anyway.
How long does this current deal last? I can't expect them to continue it.
It was very strange how it started back up going straight into My Parents Are Aliens.
Speaking of which, I watched Aliens, and then stuck around for Uncle Dad, which was quite a good programme, I presume that it will go onto ITV1 in time, at least it's something new.
I did notice that this many of this mornings programmes, chicken little, aliens, prove it, little bang, and finger tips were the exact same episodes as shown yesturday afternoon. It's the second day and the scheduler of ITV2 has started already. It isn't as if the channel airs for hours.

Are the GMTV Kids programmes branded as CITV only on the CITV channel, or on ITV2 as well? Assuming GMTV2 is continuing showing kids programmes in the mornings? It seems a bit pointless now, unless they are going to be offering a different mix of programmes.

Considering the channel's target audience is 4 - 9 year olds I think the majority of them will be home for at least part of the day
But I like My Parents Are Aliens...

They weren't, but it must have had something to do with toonattik airing on the channel as well. If they wanted to do it that way, they could just show tots programmes on ITV2 and older kids on the CITV channel if they wanted to.

E-mailed ITV again about presenters (i'm not obsessed i swear
) and this is what they had to say:
yes but most people don't want it to be distinctive.
Quote:
There are presenters in the early morning preschool programming but otherwise, no, there will not be in-vision presenters on the CITV Channel. This has been a feature of CITV on ITV1 for 18 months now and
we believe it's one of the creative choices that makes CITV distinctive.

It was a bizzare first episode. Basically there are 5 children, their mother dies, there father deserted them all before the youngest was born. All of the other Aunties and Uncles couldn't cope. So they ended up at their last Uncle's.
It was either him or the orphan home.
He didn't want anything to do with any of them, lived in a house filled with exotic animals (he was a scientist), and then he could have been evicted, etc
