That's been known for a while. The same happened with the ITV News Channel here in Scotland. But since the closure of the ITV News Channel Setanta has rolled out nationwide.
I take it the gap in the schedule from 1pm - 5pm on a Sunday is when the channel is given over to Sentanta then ? Who use ITV4 downtime, which now becomes CITV downtime.
Losing a significant weekend period when kids are likely to be sat in front of the box. Madness.
That seems very interesting, but its most probably because that duty manager doesn't know themselves.
They don't seem to know that Saturday Showdown ends at 1030 this week on ITV, well not on that website anyway.
It looks as if you have to view the new channel to finish the show. Though if you've only got Sky/Cable, you won't be able to.
As for the ITV4/CITV debacle, isn't it just the same as ITV1 airing CITV and a horror movie? The viewers would change, and it isn't as if it goes straight into swearing at 6pm.
why miss out a whole audience that don't have freeview?
Again, you're making it sound like it's through choice I'm sure they want as wide an audience as possible for the launch. I'm pretty sure that somehow, it will be on Sky from day one... maybe on ITV4 if they can't get the channel number straight away.
