The CBBC Channel doesn't show any old CBBC shows - they haven't done that since they used to show Classic Grange Hill on a Sunday morning on BBC 2 which was to catch a completely different audience.

I've seen them show quite a few old serials from the early-mid 90s, and they were showing Rentaghost at one point as well.

Yes because obviously ITV want it to not be widely available from the start Rolling Eyes

Haven't you considered it might be the platform owners that are being awkward? Sky are certainly notorius for it.

And of course just because it won't appear on the EPG doesn't mean it won't be available via 'Other Channels'

they should just broadcast it on ITV4

the updated sky digi article says it will have a low repeat rate

I was about to say, what's Bodger and Badger then? Horribly cropped mind but you can still see the post 1997 BBC logo on the endcaps of the earlier episodes when they show them.

They also aired what looked like a 1970s making of the "Prince and The Pauper" story over Christmas in an entire afternoon. Couldn't see the exact year as it was chopped off in favour of yakking over the credits as per usual but the subtitle track was intact and dated back to 1992.

I bet they didn't advertise these programmes in the launch promo though!

Just because there's no old programmes in the CITV trailer doesn't mean that eventually some may appear, within reason.

But of course. Although CBBC seems more willing as it were to go through the archive (see the Look and Read strand for example) than CiTV.
