A promo is currently playing out on FreeView, presumably until 6pm when ITV4 starts up.

Is this complete? What happened to Children's Ward and Woof?
I'm gonna be incredibly disappointed if this is the full list. There's virtually nothing pre-1999.

Mopatop's been around since before 1999, Captin Scarlet technically counts as well (though this assumes the original 1960s episodes will air which isn't going to happen).

But as I was expecting, the line-up consists mostly of imports and cartoons with not a lot of live action stuff and of course, MPAA was always going to be on there. It's not going to be a very interesting schedule I don't think as it looks like trying to take on CBeebies and CBBC both head on together.

It so nice to know ITV have gone straight to buget Cut with this channel, just like there other channels.

The CITV channel has a young audience so it makes sense to promote the channel with recent programming that kids will be familiar with.

Before ITV4 launched there was little mention of the classic shows they broadcast in press releases etc, so you never know!

They should repeat Spatz and Mike and Angelo - brilliant!

Why should CITV Channel broadcast old programmes? What relevence are these to children, they are just a nostalgia trip for us older people!

The CBBC Channel doesn't show any old CBBC shows - they haven't done that since they used to show Classic Grange Hill on a Sunday morning on BBC 2 which was to catch a completely different audience.

Apart from BBC 2 in the mornings this week when CBBC were showing a programme from 1995 featuring Paul Hendy - Travel Bug, what on earth was that on for?

The CITV Channel would no way benefit in attracting its target audience by having old shows on. A 1980s office filled with typewriters and big perms like that seen in Press Gang would have no relevance to today's kids.
