...Interesting that this article was dated 20th December and the February launch date was mentioned in that article. The launch delay has only recently occured.

In the general CiTV thread it was mentioned that a placeholder had appeared on Freeview channel 75 for the CiTV Channel. As of this evening there is now a still image in place...

I'm wondering if anyone has any preliminary schedule for the channel yet?

I thought this was going to timeshare with ITV4! Anyway, is it going to launch on Sky as well?

it will time share with ITV4 but ITV announced it would have its own possition on the EPG

I think it was because the ITV News Channel closed down, which leaves an extra space for another channel on Freeview.

But ITV News Channel's placeholder is still on Freeview isn't it? the channel's still there!

The channel number for ITV News is still there, but the video stream it was using will now be allocated to CITV. Ch81 is now nothing more than a number. The placeholder slide on Ch75 at the moment is an MHEG image, not a video stream.

There's a black and white test card with tone now on 75.

its a shame they pushed the channel date back, it wouldn't have been long to go if it stayed the same
