This guy is taking the utter piss and nothing is being done about it. Why?

Alright! Calm down. The mods don't have the ability to ban members yet. I'm still sorting that out. I banned the user as soon as I realised he re-signed up.

But I think they are back as Jayne, Asa Confused

Anyway, that guy is Tom Darvil I think , and Danielle got the phone caught in her hair.

Yes, it is Tom Darvil.

Oh Ow! Reading this James2001, are you thinking what I'm thinking!

Hmm.. The name Lee springs to mind.

Oooh I ca't believe I missed this! Maybe they'll repeat it on ITV2. Although knowing ITV that's very unlikely.

I think the best presenters they ever had were Danielle and Steven (who now does fingertips).

Anybody know where Danielle is now?

Tom is one of their 'new' presenters that vanished into obscurity, and rightly so. He was annoying, gormless and I found him unsuitable for childrens TV. Just look at him! He looks to be thinking "I have better things to be doing."

http://www.tvhome.netfirms.com/upload/pictureid_dan.jpg. After their big blue relaunch we had:

Stephen and Danielle.
Then they go two others:
Tom and a blonde. (her name, anyone?)
They vanished very quickly, and I think we replaced with Leigha (the blonde) and another guy who I think was called Lee. At present they have Michael and the woman who reminds me of the woman on T4.

So does anybody have a list of who presented and who replaced them?

The most recent presenters since the in vision re-launch have been -
Steven Mulhern
Dannielle Nichols
Tom Darville
Andrea Ford
Leigh Morrison
David Leon
Leah Charles
Michael Underwood
and the latest addition is Tim (Don't know his Surname)

Hmm... which Leah is Leigh?

Is Leigh the one with blonde hair and Leah the one who presented the Birthday bash with Mike Underwood?

Does that make the guy with the David Beckham hair David?

I think we are all agreed on that it was a great show. Agreed that Roland Rat was on fine form, I'm sure the producer must of said sommat to the puppeteer to shut up as they had a show to do.

My favourite highlights was early on when Michael asked Matthew Kelly who is favourite CITV presenter was, he said Andy Crane. I thought uh-oh, was that a clanger, there's me thinking CBBC until I realised that he went from CBBC to ITV's Motormouth.

We were also treated to the a*se of Roland Rats pupeeter as there was a aerial shot of the studio and you could see it behind the sofa! I bet that blue sofa was nicked from Central news!

It's a shame it wasn't mentioned that Neil Buchanan has been on Children's ITV in some sort of way over the last 21 years now.

I think the show did well because one of the people behind it maintains the Watched It website (http://www.watchedit.com) and his brilliant piece about CITV written in 2000 can be found here http://freespace.virgin.net/greg.taylor1/watched_it/citv.html

So all in all, it was the best programme out of the bumper double issue of the Christmas/New Year Radio Times and there was me fearing that it was going to be a couple of nostaglic links in between Sabrina the Doormouse Bitch

All in all, a really good show. Shame the titles were largely restricted to the 'cake' in the style of the current titles and big shows like Knightmare were reduced to clips but Roland was great - "Milton Keynes twinned with Kabul!" and the reference to TV-am.

Cheers, Asa

Nice to see Roland taking the mick out of my home-town! I feel sorry for Roland myself, as the main male actor in the pantomine is Gary Wilmot! That's as bad as putting Anne Diamond into the Big Brother house when the target audience won't have a clue who they are!

that was the studio they used when they returned to invision links after central retained the citv commission in the late 90s wasnt it? i remember reading that particular studio wasnt the main one (the one they share with central news at six now). could it have been in the studio which is now virtual and used for central news bulletins/central weather? (IIRC during the 97 era, didnt central news always use the main studio for every bulletin)

citv also used the central garden in the summer a bit at one point - shame they dont do stuff like that anymore.

i still prefer citv to cbbc, from the bits i see of them nowerdays - in branding terms, id say citv have developed their brand, where as cbbc seem insecure and completely overhaul everything.

I think the CITV logo should change- it looks too babyish (even for kids).

You're all sig and no post arn't you MDR!

Anyway, looking at that blue wall, it looks like it could be a used for weather presentation

CITV also do/did a lot of virtual reality stuff, for example when they used to jump in front of the phone number graphic when it used to have that catchy jingle
