CITV Art Attack, New Episodes?

I noticed this morning that Art Attack was being broadcast on ITV1. When I opened the Info box on my Virgin box it said at the end "New Episode". I was trying to read what the year said at the end of the titles, but a stupid advert squashed the end right down and cut off where the year would read. I thought this show was cancelled, or have they not finished airing all of the last ones yet?

It says on Art Attack website "Catch new episodes on Sunday on CITV". Is this right? As well as this, there were rumours going round that Neil Buchanan was dead, circulating on Facebook. I don't think this is true, as he was only 46.

Well, Art Attack isn't being made anymore. Crying or Very sad
I'm sure the episodes will only be new to ITV1, as the final series aired exclusively on the CITV Channel a few months ago.

There was a broadcast article months ago that said that ITV were going to start commissioning some children's programmes again, but they chose finger tips over art attack, don't know the reason though.

I would imagine it was some people getting him mixed up with Mark Speight from CBBC's art show SMART

I think it was a more ironic/sarcastic/sick joke as the reports said Neil had died of an 'art attack Laughing

Indeed, I remember those "rumours" circulating long before Mark Speight died.

He is not dead, but I read somewhere he is turned into an alcoholic, I hope that's not true either.

people do have the odd habit of circulating hoaxes about people being dead, apparently either stars of Keynan and Kell are dead depending on which one you read Confused

what's the point?

That Kenan and Kel rumour has been going around for nearly 10 years. I remember NickText putting up a page called "Is It True?" stating that neither actor had been involved in any accident.

Ooo deary me! As far as I recall the Fbk "tribute group" claimed that Neil Buchanan had died from colon cancer, or something equally 'amusing'
