They're not wiped, therefore not lost forever. It's simply a case of lost paperwork, as with most of their archive, making it hard to tell who would be owed royalties.
The tapes at this moment of time are unknown to there location, we know the tapes have all gone fully into the hands of Disney, with tapes where either being in Ashford - KENT or LEED YTV archive, before 2012,.
Since 2012 where are there? have there gone to USA? Disney still classes the archive as "Internationale family Channel"

Why did there show Huxley Pig, It does not seem much fanfair around this show? I get the feeling this is where Zzzap should have been slotted in.
It's one of my earliest television memories so I was happy for its appearance
I think for me the most notable absenses were Zzzap! (I know, rights issues), Tots TV (last seen on Cbeebies) and The Dreamstone - otherwise it felt like almost every single CITV show I remember was there, particularly from my 'golden age' of around 1993 to 1995 (I was more CBBC after that). Obviously that's discounting all the American imports which weren't technically CITV productions - ironically, despite so many classic UK kids TV shows made during then, I think the most popular show during that time was Tiny Toon Adventures!

I don't remember Supergran, but the fact that it had credits lasting 1 min 45 secs was interesting. The Tyne Tees ident with the usually wobbly music dated it much earlier than 1984.

Interesting that the drop-off point there is My Parents are Aliens. Unsurprising.
Regarding super-long credits - I recall one of the programmes on Milkshake/Milkshake FM/Shake in the very early days of Channel 5 being an Australian programme, set in some kind of national park, with an incredibly long set of credits. Does anybody know what that programme was?

Half a million and the biggest ratings of the day for Dangermouse, not unexpected

It's not what you are meaning, but Round the Twist, which was obviously also Australian, was also well known for it's very long credits. Maybe it was the done thing in Australia at the time.
It seems that the fun programmes attracted the viewers more than the serious drama later in the afternoon, although it might also be that there was football on and people's actual lives to lead by 4pm.

Also, the last few programmes had been on the previous day too so were perhaps not so much of a draw by day 2 (not that it seems to have stoppped people watching Fun House and Knightmare again).

My Parents are Aliens shouldn't really have been in there, isn't it on every week ?
GO
It was only there because it was filler and advertiser funded.
It only ended six years ago and as such is too recent. Skillicious shouldn't have aired either, as that's even newer.

And Rosie and Jim not to far behind. That's far more fondly remembered than I thought it would be compared to other shows of the era.
