I hope one of you generous, kind TVF people have been capturing all the frontcaps on high-quality disc for posterity. Laughing

Most of them, especially Thames appear on DVDs of the shows these days. Although the one I
had never seen in full quality before was the Tyne Tees one on Supergran. Always been a fan of that one. Unfortunately it was ruined somewhat by the gigantic DOG, but ahh well can't have everything Smile

A good range of ITV regions have been represented this weekend. Unless I’ve missed any we’ve seen programmes from:
Granada, Yorkshire, Tyne Tees, Scottish, Central, Anglia, Meridian, HTV, Thames & TVS.

Therefore regions not seen were Grampian, Border, Channel, LWT, UTV, Carlton, Westcountry & TSW, many of those being understandable small regions or 'new' regions that I expect never did anything for CITV.

But who'd want to see a weekend schedule with Krankies Television, Bertie the Bat, Treasures of the Mindlord, Alphabet Castle among others apart from those of us wanting to see the logos at the end? Wink

To everyone at ITV and CITV who made the Old Skool Weekend possible, thank you. Yes, there were points to pick I could easily pick at, but generally, it was an entertaining and engaging weekend of nostalgia - which I guess was the point. One to do again, but not for a while yet.

I'm surprised The Dreamstone never made the lineup either, I actually enjoyed that back in the day.

I think there could do this once a year, there still plenty that was never broadcast.

But there has been three points that has been raised on Twitter etc about this weekend:

* NO Grotbag or Emu
* Fraggle rock being from the USA and No Fulton Mckay
* Zzzap

All three are valid point, and well to be fair many people did question It.

Well done CITV, lets just hope someone did grab that long Ident at 5pm, the only time it seems to been shown today.

The only show I can remember Channel doing for CITV was 'Island'. It's not exactly a classic, but like Children's Ward seemed to have loads of actors who would end up in prime time shows later on.

Channel have even uploaded a full episode by the looks of things:

Grampian made James the Cat.

Presumably LWT never did anything, as CITV didn't air (traditionally) at weekends.

The Gladiators spin-off "Train 2 Win" was an LWT production...
