Ooh that episode off Count Duckula was from 1989 not 1991 as suggested it had a Thames end cap I've never seen before.

There's an episode on YouTube of Puddle Lane with the liquid gold ident. I think it had both of them as it was on for a few years.


By all accounts, Yorkshire had a habit of putting the liquid gold frontcap on the tapes for everything, even after frontcaps were phased out and it would never be shown.

I'm not sure when CITV stopped showing frontcaps, but it was some time before they were dropped generally.

Just the 30th one and frontcaps for the ITV company that made the programme where appropriate.

Is it just my box/telly or is everything being shown stretched to 16:9? (Recently upgraded to HD so it could just be my set up)
