So what are the chances of seeing some old school idents this weekend? Tommy Boyd making an apperance? Scally? Jeanne Downes? We will see - Id say the chances are very slim but ITV may suprise us??

it would make up a lot for that poor doc last week

I watched it again on ITV2 this week and it was better than I'd thought at first. Let's not forget, it's an hour of primetime ITV talking about a strand that was as good as dead not long ago. In any case, the 20th anniversary programme was heavily biased towards the presentation side of things (and is on You Tube) and there hasn't been a great deal more of that in the last 10 years to talk about.

Interestingly both Mike and Angelo and Supergran have had frontcaps even though these were dropped from the start on CITV. Presumably they were still on the master tapes, but not shown when they came to be broadcast.

Actually, if Mike and Angelo was 1989 then surely that shouldn't have been there at all?

"Supergran" usually went out on Sunday afternoons outside of CITV branding, so the Tyne Tees endcap would have appeared before it.

The question is, how will they factor in a Meridian ident into "Wizadora"? Wink

EDIT: They didn't.

Nice to see they made a change to the billed episode of Wizadora (at least different to the one listed on the Sky EPG) from 1997 which featured Steve Ryde, who had previously provided continuity links for CITV and then of course went on to produce shows like Dick & Dom in Da Bungalow!

This is brilliant, really loving this and I think they've kept the front caps and end caps on these shows Very Happy

There don't make programmes like T-Bag anymore,

I believe the frontcap on Thames form 1989 is because it was being sold to the USA markert, was that successful?

Did anyone Record the opening?

There was no frontcap shown the episode was from 1987

No front cap on Raggy Dolls as expected as the episode is from 1994, great to see it again, YTV front cap expected for Puddle Lane though
