Very nice! The 'yellow crabs' was deffo my era! I gotta say in general the presentation on CITV has improved quite a lot from a few years ago, just a shame about not having the in-vision.
I've watched many clips of that on youtube. I cant even remember it and im 12 The CiTV with 2003-04 logo was my era and the CITV Channel.
For me I just about remember when it was called 'Children's ITV/CITV':
but I also remember the rebrand of when they relaunched with Stephen and Danielle:
Not surprising that didn't work out - Jamie Rickers (the white guy in that pitch) got booted from Toonattik (GMTV Kids) due to the axing on in vision continuity when ITV plc bought Disney's share in GMTV, and he ended up moving to Nickelodeon.

I don't actually think it would have featured Jamie & the other presenters there as I heard they filmed the pitch with nearest children presenters around. Jamie would have been busy with toonattik.
The "pitch" was produced whilst the GMTV Kids team were in consultation when ITV took over and proposed to close it down. As I understand it (and this is all second hand so I apologise if it's inaccurate), the GMTV Kids team proposed to take on the presentation contract for CITV in addition to Toonattik. This was rejected, but that clip is an example of what they were proposing to do.
I could never stand Danielle as a kid. Far too enthusiastic. Is she still on telly these days?
I quite liked her though I was very young. I think she was on that rubbish Night Fever programme on Channel 5 with Suggs but I haven't seen her since.
My favourite era of CITV was probably when Michael Underwood and Andrea (I think, can't remember her name) were the only two hosts. They'd alternate Monday to Thursday but would both host Fridays and I remember always looking forward to watching them on Fridays after school. They were so funny (to my young mind, I'm sure I'd find them cringeworthy today). Don't rate Underwood as a host any more though, though what does he host these days anyway?
Funny how "CiTV" with a small i has managed to stick around several years after that period finished. The Radio Times has written it like that in their choice section. I've seen it elsewhere in the last few years as well.
Also there's some decent press coverage for this weekend. My friend saw an article on it in a newspaper and there's this BBC News page:
Yep, yellow crabs are my era too. Great era that, always loved the design of the studio, and the idents. They also had a jingle that worked very well and was memorable. I always felt it went a bit downhill after the late 2001 shakeup of presenters and when they changed the blue to a darker blue, but looking back the darker blue worked well actually, and the presenters I didn't mind.
