He's made me realise how bad Heartbeat has got. Laughing And they're still in 1969 after about 5 years now?! But no doubt it'll stay in the schedules as one of those Sunday traditions!

Have to say I was a bit suprised when she said 1969, surely they would be in 1973/4 by now Confused

I think it's more like 1980 actually - they've been going about 15 years and I'm sure they were in the mid-60s when they started!

Christmas Limerick of the week and "The Queen giving her Christmas Speech at the Rovers" When it was Blanche walking from behins with a tiara!! He's great!! Pity his kids show, shark infested Custard, finished. I never watch kids TV much, but that was brilliant.

I wonder when this Xmas Burp was recorded?

It features LOADS of itv programmes that he could've easily got advance copies of - but didnt feature much else apart from any other channel apart from Eastenders and Marvin on five!

PS Oh of course there was Casualty aswell.

Loved that Nigel Marvin bit as well. In actual fact it was the best show all Christmas, shame it wasn't actually on Christmas Day
