A very rare Saturday edition of Eastenders on Boxing Day

It is quite a very safe and pedestrian lineup for BBC1. Nothing particularly major like Wallace and Gromit last year or the Only Fools specials, just a few Christmas specials of the usual programmes with no shocks or surprises.

And just how many times has The Santa Clause been on now?!

it's the Crap 1994 version, and not the Dudley more 1984 one.

You are (stupidly) confusing "Santa Claus (The Movie)" with "The Santa Clause". Two completely different movies which, unsurprisingly given their content, get a healthy airing most Yuletides.

623058 - This is the response that Michael gave you 2 pages ago!

AND STILL its does not tell me who got which film, bbc and ITV are both showing a film, im still clueless.

Santa Claus: The Movie is the Dudley Moore movie with the Sheena Easton theme tune.
The Santa Clause is a completely different movie with a completely different title.

Coming up next: 623058 mixes up Star Wars with Star Trek.

Sorry to be a pedant, but Boxing Day cannot be a Saturday as it is a public holiday. Technically, this year the 26th December is St. Stephen's Day, and Boxing Day falls on Monday 28th December.

Slap me around the face now.

Saturday or Sunday. Only Weekdays Mon-Fri can be designated public holidays.

Monday is a Bank Holiday in lieu of Boxing Day falling on a weekend. In the event Christmas Day and Boxing Day both fall on the weekend then both the Monday and Tuesday are Bank Holidays.

Has anyone managed to get hold of the Christmas Radio Times yet? Isnt it on sale today?

As for Happy Feet, it might not be a Christmas film but what is BBC1 showing... the Incredibles... Yep that hugely big Christmas film! Laughing

Some the themes that the film deals with are very serious and a few of the scenes are actually quite scary, so I don't think it's really a Christmas Day type of film. That was my point.

You say Emmerdale is too long for an hour yet your OK with Corrie being on for the same length? Confused

Umm. Yes. Razz

Sky have got their Christmas EPG music on now. Same as last years and the year before.

I caught the SKY2 Christmas Tree for a second earlier today as well.
