it's the Crap 1994 version, and not the Dudley more 1984 one.
You are (stupidly) confusing "Santa Claus (The Movie)" with "The Santa Clause". Two completely different movies which, unsurprisingly given their content, get a healthy airing most Yuletides.
623058 - This is the response that Michael gave you 2 pages ago!
It is quite a very safe and pedestrian lineup for BBC1. Nothing particularly major like Wallace and Gromit last year or the Only Fools specials, just a few Christmas specials of the usual programmes with no shocks or surprises.
And just how many times has The Santa Clause been on now?!

Was it the same as last year?

AND STILL its does not tell me who got which film!
Look, ITV1 (sorry STV) are showing the 1985 'Santa Claus' movie starring Dudley Moore 10:55 on Christmas Day.
And yes, STV are showing Poirot on Christmas Day, and also Marple on New Years Day.

Just a few to pick from Chie... but BBC1 (I'm from the old school, none of this BBC One malarkey!) is showing several hours of news first thing in the morning, this is unbelieveable too.
As for the Polar Express, its a lovely film. My only criticism is that ITV1 showed this on Christmas Day just two years ago and was shown the other side of the Queen.
As for Happy Feet, it might not be a Christmas film but what is BBC1 showing... the Incredibles... Yep that hugely big Christmas film!
You say Emmerdale is too long for an hour yet your OK with Corrie being on for the same length?
