Bit late with this but I missed the party a few pages back when everyone was talking about Christmas adverts. There was one notable omission - Kellogg's.
The only version I can find is this Irish one above. It's still played here in Ireland and is up there with the Coca-cola lorries in terms of Christmas ad importance. Well, it is for me anyway.
The BBC are still showing regular repeats of Flog It! and Animal Park over Christmas. I long to see a Christmas schedule just on year where the BBC don't heavily rely on such dreadful programming to fill the gaps. Where is their sense of Christmas? Instead of showing this crap, they should be showing a film or a festive comedy repeat. We get to see these auction programmes all year round, I'm sure they could drop them for just 2 weeks of the year.
BBC Two are at least showing a Laurel and Hardy documentary over Christmas, on Boxing Day at 10.50am a repeat of their great documentary last shown in 2003 'Living Famously'. This is probably the most faithful documentary on Laurel & Hardy ever made.

I remember BBC2 at nights:
11.20 Red drawf
11.50 something else
00.20 I love the 70/80/90
01.20: star trek?
Or
11.20 Repeat of TV doc; story of light entertainment

That does seem vaguely familiar. I wonder how much effort went in to putting up-to-date branding on the Corn Flakes packet? It looks a little jarring next to the kids, who are probably in their 20s now. (Compare with the original, which is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7ezhIjvoQs )
Yes I enjoyed those late night repeats of the original Star Trek series on BBC Two every Friday night. It was odd of BBC Two to do this, but ever since they have been showing other sci-fi repeats in the same slot. Next up was Star Trek The Next Generation and now it's Medium
No doubt 'I dare say' that Channel 4 will be repeating 100 Greatest Christmas Moments and that thing where Justin Lee Collins tries to Bring Back the Christmas Number 1.
Does anyone have any info regarding ITV1 christmas idents?
I keep asking ITVinsider on Twitter but he just keeps telling me he doesn't know yet or that christmas presentation will start soon etc. So I don't even know if they have a new ident, last years ident will be reused or nothing will be used.
