Christmas TV 2018

I don't think anyone's reported on here yet that this year's Christmas Radio Times uses perfect binding, not staples, at least in some areas (mine included).

Yep, I believe it's the first time they've ever done this. TV Times has done the same.

My copy (London/Anglia/Midlands) is still stapled.

And stop calling it legendary too...

Nice to see Ch4 now using its xmas idents.

Has anyone else seen the brussel sprouts idents on ch4? It seems to have been sharpened up?

Saw it earlier - not the best of the bunch.

The Christmas idents are easily the best of what C4 has delivered since 2015 and I really do wish they'd go more down that route for the regular idents. That said though the Sky One idents kind of make me wish C4 had done a logo-free Christmas ident in the regular style made out of random blocks - Christmas trees mades out of the blocks could look quite spectacular, whether in a graphical or real world setting.

That would've made more sense in the package before the current Four Man set.

.. That or, wrapped presents under a twinkle lighted Christmas Tree, with the Channel Four logo blocks as the presents and arranged around the base of the tree in a random and abstract fashion. Slightly different for every junction.

I see Reggie Yates seems to have been quietly axed from presenting it following the incident last year.
