But if you know the story of Watership Down, then little bunnies being injured and some dying, doesn't strike me as ideal early evening Christmas Day family viewing fare....
Or Easter Day viewing on Channel 5 one year. Those poor little bunnies!
They've announced the new Watership Down mini-serial is planned to go out on BBC One on the 22nd and 23rd December this evening. So I guess that means the mystery of what will be going in that early evening gap on Christmas Day where Doctor Who previously was continues.

Studio 4 maybe the biggest studio at RTE, but it is small compared to the main studios in the UK. Trying to squeeze in large audiences more than 200 into Studio 4 is hard for them. Good effort though with their set.
A new addition to the Toy Show for this year is that they have included 2 extra rows of seats including the regular seats in Studio 4.
And RTÉ had just released their promotional Christmas TV ad campaign for the festive season.

Just show this clip of Matthew Butler and be done with it because “this is what they want”!
