More reasons to shop at BBC One?

I just can't help but feel that it looks like a supermarket's advert.

Don’t know why but the trailer gives me ‘Oneness’ vibes. Shocked

It's a good point that the BBC One logo isn't on the promo. It might mean nothing but it is a bit odd.

About the The Late Late Toy Show, has any British channel did a similar programme or is it purely an Irish institution?

Blue Peter used to do a review of the year's toys at Christmas in the sixties, but Biddy Baxter thought it was terribly vulgar and unfair on the audience who couldn't afford any of them, so she abandoned it and started the appeal instead.

They've announced the new Watership Down mini-serial is planned to go out on BBC One on the 22nd and 23rd December this evening. So I guess that means the mystery of what will be going in that early evening gap on Christmas Day where Doctor Who previously was continues.

But if you know the story of Watership Down, then little bunnies being injured and some dying, doesn't strike me as ideal early evening Christmas Day family viewing fare....
