How long before somebody dubs that Coca Cola ad with the 'Holidays are Coming' track? Still, in a week or so from now no doubt they'll roll out the old 90s 4:3 bell ringer one yet again to keep people happy.
I think last year's winner was John Lewis (was it last year?) with the little boy waiting to give his parents a Christmas present. I've yet to see anything match that.
But why can't Coca Cola get it through their minds that so many people adore and cherish the original Holidays are Coming advert? Think of how much money they'd save from making new, extravagant adverts that are met with people saying, "Nah, not as good as the trucks." Just stick the old one on with the original music, and not that R'n'B sh*t...

What nobody remembers these days of course is that the "Holidays are Coming" jingle is actually an arrangement with different lyrics of the now nearly twenty-year old "Always Coca-Cola" jingle (indeed, the "Always Coca-Cola" line at the very end was only edited out two or three years ago).
For Coca-Cola, it's probably regarded as a throwback to a different era in their advertising (it also refers back to the old "The Real Thing" slogan). Then again if it helps sell soft drinks, they won't care.
