But I thought that there was to be no TOTP this year as mentioned earlier on this thread.

I heard there was... maybe not though. Perhaps I'm thinking of last year. Anyway, this year I don't think Emmerdale should go head to head with Doctor Who, no point in taking a complete battering, so maybe something else should go in its spot. It's also good for soap fans not to have two solid hours of Emmer/Corrie.

Something like that would be good.

Do we think Parkinson will get a Christmas night special to finish off his final series now he's finally retiring again?

(until he unretires a couple of years later of course)

This really is a pretty pointless thread though when you think about it - we pretty much know the key components of BBC1 and ITV1's Christmas Day schedules will be the same as the last couple of years.

So how about the other channels - what do you think BBC2, C4 and five should be offering as an alternative?

I thought soaps are on for an hour on xmas day - people making timetables for Channels like BBC1 and ITV are making them half an hour. Why?

What day do people reckon High School Musical 2 will be on BBC One? Last year High School Musical was on Dec 29 which was a Sunday.

BBC Two should be showing Da Kath and Kim code sometime over Christmas too.

If High School Musical 2 is on any time near this Christmas, I will put a hammer through the TV and then discharge the CRT into Zac Efron's heart. The last one (and the few seconds I saw of this one) were abysmal.

I think Green Green Grass will be on at 3.10 in the afternoon like last year again (which I felt was a shame because I thought it was better than the one from the year before - which was on at about 8pm).

Oh and a minority thing but a christmas episode of Brainiac doesn't look likely this year does it.
