from an ad break on ITV1, they seems to be a competition to see who opens earliest

PC World wins!
Two schools of thought here:
1) Who in their right mind wants to go PC Shopping at 7am Boxing Day? Surely you were having a computer at Christmas you'd have had it Christmas Day?
2) Who in their sober mind would buy anything from PC World anyway?
Great edition of TOTP just finished. I really hope they continue to make this a tradition every year. The titles were a compilation of previous title sequences with snow, captions used/animations into clips were very simple - no branding as used in the final series. They also made good use of performances from concerts, BBC One Sessions and Children in Need along with those in the studio.
Although someone forgot to tell them they'd be on half an hour earlier as Reggie said the Queen was next! I wonder why it was moved in the first place?

Ha! I noticed that, then I realised it was not til another 30 minutes.
The Christmas Day audience is not quite the captive one it used to be in the days of four-channel TV. Back then, absolutely everywhere was shut down. Not so today; lots of people in town this morning and a sizeable queue at the one convenience store that was open. In other words, people are finding other things to do than watch television.
That said, it's not really an excuse for broadcasters not to put the effort in. Admittedly, it's much more difficult to for BBC1 and ITV1 to get "first run" movies but even so, if you don't like films or soaps you're stuffed really.

-Susan going to prison!!!
-Susan Kennedy contracting MS –which is full of heartbreak and drama, as the actress who plays Susan Kennedy, (Jackie Woodbourne) portrays it so well.
- Libby Kennedy’s return to bring her family torn family together
- Karl Kennedy returning to medicine

Am I right in saying that Charcoal was the font used on the
TOTP
captions? It worked quite well, although I'd prefer a single style of titles to be used (eg the most recent set).
