Maybe they'll put The British Comedy Awards on Christmas Day....
Sorry, I'm not gonna let this one go.
Hopefully they'll air them at somepoint over Christmas, but it's just not the same as having them live. I really don't know what ITV are thinking about, it's definately not their viewers.
What a set of disappointing schedules, particularly on BBC One. Highlights have to be Doctor Who and a few of the comedy Christmas specials although other than that there's not much worth watching. I suppose at least on the positive side, the usual daytime stuff has been removed from the schedules and replaced with films, something a bit different from usual.

Anyone any idea on BBC Two's Christmas line-up?

Interesting they've chosen to have a Dragons Den Christmas Special on Christmas Day - doesn't strike me as ideal family Christmas entertainment. Don't get me wrong, I love Dragons Den, but not sure if I would want to watch it on Christmas Day - especially at 8.30pm.
Looks like BBC have gone Richard Hammond mad on New Year's Day night.
I see the Comedy Connections strand is the Late Night Festive repeat. In the past we've had, I Love 1980s, The Office and last year, Story of Light Entertainment.

I see ITV Play comes to an end on Sat 23rd Dec, with generally movie double bills filling the slot through till Jan 4th at least.
I've said before but I think considering overnights are ad-free promoting a "midnight movie" - even just once a week, as screening uninterupted would be a great selling point for the late ITV schedule - just let the sponsor have extended bumpers at the beginning and end of the film.
However, I assume it'll go back to movies being screened ad free - but with ITV inserting fake ad breaks full of trailers and PIFs just to get the sponsor on screen every 30 minutes.
