The BBC1 listings look crap really. EastEnders at 8.30pm, and a film taking up the rest of the night? That'll definitely change anyway. I expect to see DW moved to 8pm, with EE at 9pm.
ITV1's schedule may not change too much though. It will be the usual Corrie, Emmerdale and two hour drama.
Well apart from Doctor Who and Corrie there is nothing I want to watch at all on Christmas Day based on those schedules.
I agree that they will change a lot though before the final schedules are known in a few weeks time.
They have a half hour Emmerdale scheduled for Christmas Day - bet that will end up as 1 hour.
Also Corrie have extra hour long episodes scheduled on Christmas Day and New Years Day - thats almost equal to an extra week of episodes over the festive fortnight.
Infact both Christmas and New Years Day look exactly the same on ITV1 in peak time - the 2 soaps followed by a 2 hour drama.
I am going to suggest that the movie The Aviator will not be broadcast on Christmas Day. More likely to be on Sunday December 30th. I also predict that Meet The Fockers will be on Boxing Day. Infact, the New Year's Eve schedule looks more like the Boxing Day schedule in the evening at least!
I also reckon Shrek 2 will be on ChristmaEve and Finding Nemo will be on Christmas Day. Might be wrong mind you! I think the listings in the newspapers are pants especially as To Be Announced is on more times this year than ever before. Must be a bloody good film!

I wonder if Five will show Home and Away Christmas Day? In previous years when it falls on a weekday they have but because they have put TBH I doubt they will.
All but Five's Christmas schedules are on DigiGuide now. BBC 1 & 2 go up to 28/12, BBC 3 & 4 along with all the ITV and 4 channels go up to 4/1.
I'm pleased to see BBC 2 showing Michael Palin every morning of the holidays like in previous years. I also spy a Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe review of the year on BBC4 on Sat 29.
Surely BBC1 can't have The Aviator on 8:30 to 11:10?
I mean, people who have seen the film, or people who don't want to see it - they wouldn't get very high viewing figures. I would have thought they'd go with Extras or something?
Those Michael Palin documentaries on BBC2 are boring and I feel are inappropriate for showing over Christmas. ALso, BBC2 are also showing repeats of Animal Park again every morning along with a repeat of How We Built Britain.
Compare these schedules alongside the likes of Channel 4 or Five which are kind of similiar to BBC2's audience, there is no comparison. Where are the old films BBC2 used to put on in these early morning slots, I really miss those.
It's good to see ITV actually having some festive programming in their schedule this year plus they are having a New Year special too. The first for many years.
