I don't have a problem with advertisers advertising for Christmas, that's what they do, and this is the busiest time for trading. My only problem is how they have to go down the whole Christmas route of using Mariah Carey, and having living rooms filled with trees... in October. Middle of November is about right for me, but October is a bit daft.

Argos seem to be advertising their Christmas catalogue, but luckily they haven't gone down the Christmas route yet.

Perhaps returning to a Standard version and a News version - Or just plain old Long and Short versions - rather than two completely different symbols.

I see QVC have had a graphics refresh again in time for the festive season with new font and stricter safe area theme.

They wouldn't do it, if it wasn't effective though.

Because she works for the BBC like a couple of other contributors to this forum and therefore has tonnes of inside knowledge that I would kill for!!

I hope the new Argos boxing ad is a sign of things to come with good xmas ads.

I don't think that it's properly Christmas until I see the Coca Cola 'holidays are coming ad' ad the Toys R Us ad.

I agree followed by the traditional Hellman's 12 Days of Mayonnaise ad.
