Coincidentally, Five's also launched it's Christmas package as well.

Is it just some Christmas footage with a Five logo on it?

I like the ITV1 ident, so pleased they made an effort.

There's no footage, but it's all graphics orientated. (from what I saw anyway)

If you ignore C4, then the BBC are the last Terrestrial channel to launch their Christmas pres and no one would have expected that.

I do wish Channel 4 would put in an effort though. Don't know why they stopped doing them in the first place.

Oh no. ITV1 are showing 'Santa Claus The Movie' this year. It was on BBC2 for the last few years, and is not a film that deserves to be ruined with adverts every 15 minutes. Sad

Adverts can't make that movie anymore terrible then it already is. Wink

I'm sure it wouldn't take much to tweak an ident or two to make them more festive - this one especially could look pretty amazing if it was given an Antarctic makeover:

Rather than just a straight back-to-back showing of clips, the Peter Serafinowicz Show: Best Of currently on BBC2 has links between the clips with Peter in his Terry Wogan mode! It's very well observed.

Santa Claus, The Movie has been on UKTV Gold the last few years, so it's had adverts on there! If you're sad like me you have the DVD of it. Laughing

I'm not sure if it's a right place to post it but Sky have their Christmas EPG music on.
