Well TV Choice has made it to the shelves of one newsagents around here, but none of the rest were available today.

Strange as in South Wales all the double issues went on sale this morning apart from (as in previous years) TV Choice.

I've seen it here, after walking into WHSmith and noticing that it had snow on the logo. Didn't want to glance at it, and getting excited about Christmas.

Could somebody tell me why Australia got to see A Matter Of Loaf and Death before us?

Odd that they showed it before the repeat episodes they have on (Close Shave this week, that one with the penguin is on next week).

It's on their equivalent to iPlayer although I'm pretty sure that you can't access it from the UK.

I guess because officially their ratings season ends a couple of weeks before Christmas.

Agree though, it's not on if it's a licence fee funded programme. The same thing happened with Extras airing a couple of weeks earlier on HBO for their Christmas special a couple of years back.

Got my copy of the Christmas Radio Times - Christmas has officially begun. Very Happy

It's interesting that 'After You've Gone' is being advertised as one of the BBC's main comedy offerings this Christmas, what with it being axed.

Based on that trailer, the main highlight 'The Royle Family' seems to get 4th billing

Oh no. ITV1 are showing 'Santa Claus The Movie' this year. It was on BBC2 for the last few years, and is not a film that deserves to be ruined with adverts every 15 minutes. Sad

Coincidentally, Five's also launched it's Christmas package as well.

Is it just some Christmas footage with a Five logo on it?

I like the ITV1 ident, so pleased they made an effort.

No I like it too, just wish they had done something with the music. Oh well a much better effort than in previous years Laughing
