Just had a look on the press site and The Snowman is pencilled in for 4pm on Christmas Eve.

YES! Cheers That's about the time it should be on. With the smell of Christmas all around the house.

Damn, just remembered I'm not a kid anymore.. Confused

Laughing

That's brilliant news though - great day and time slot - hope it stays that way!

Just goes to show at least Channel 4 listen to viewers demands!

Didn't The Snowman used to go out every year on Christmas Day?

EastEnders for one hour and 15 minutes looks wrong - I presume we are missing a programme at 6.15pm or 6.30pm in between EastEnders and Doctor Who that they haven't put in yet.

TOTP on Christmas Day for 1 hour 45 minutes? That seems like something's missing in between TOTP and The Queen.

I thought that, usually TOTP as you probably know has been no longer than an hour long....And think your right with the Eastenders scenario too long and its on again! Later. Although the most of the schedule is correct

Usually they have two episodes of EastEnders - one early at about 6pm and then a later one at 8.30pm/9pm - each usually 30 mins long.

Except in some past years where they opted for one 1-hour long episode at approx 8pm.

By the way, do you have a link for that schedule or did you copy it out of a magazine?

I love Father Christmas as well, one of my fave scenes that always gives me a warm and fuzzy moment is when he bumps into The Snowman and the little boy. Shall we all sing 'Another bloomin Christmas? Very Happy

Actually with The Snowman and Father Christmas on Channel 4 I think they should show The Snowman Irn Bru and Father Christmas Kit Kat commercials as well.

I do not see why newspapers put out a Christmas TV guide in late November when the majority of it has TBA in it.

Nearly alll tv channels do not finalise their listings until just before publication in Radio Times, TV Times etc.

I know it gives a hint at what is to be on but it does not in anyway give a full 100% guarantee of the timings.

I wonder what Christmas Day rubbish ITV1 will be putting on. They seem to surrender to BBC1 every year. Surley they could put on some of their high rated shows on to give competition to BBC1? Last year's offering was dreadful.
