I have a feeling that POTC or Jonathan Creek will get the Boxing Day slot, Superman Returns could be used on the Monday or Tuesday before New Years.

I wonder if Curse of the Wererabbit will air alongside A Matter of Loaf and Death on Christmas Day or air one day after another?

Does anybody think that there might actually be more premieres than listed on BBC TV this Christmas?

There's usually a few on BBC2 over the period, especially British films which though critically acclaimed, nobody bothered going to watch.

Has anyone seen any previews in this week's papers for the Christmas TV Guide (the TBA guide Very Happy )? I think it will be the papers this Thursday 27th November but in today's Mirror there was no preview for it yet. Has anyone seen any previews in any of the other papers?

Not seen anything advertised at all either in the papers or on TV (though they don't make as big a deal about them as they used too!).

Any news on who's doing C4's alternative Christmas message this year - Paddy Power are putting Russell Brand as the favourite, though I'd say second favourite Peter Kay as Geraldine is more likely. And hopefully they'll put it out at 3pm this year - it made absolutely no sense last year when they moved it to a later slot.

They dont usually do the preview until the day before so expect it tomorrow with the guide in Thursdays paper.

No doubt there will be another "BBC scandal" with The Queen being moved from 3pm. No, it's not happening but I can imagine it now..

"And BREAKING NEWS tonight, the BBC has stated it is to move The Queen's speech from 3 o'clock Christmas Day to 10.35pm Boxing Day instead..."

Not again!

Extremely disappointing.

All right if you're an obsessive, I suppose, but isn't Christmas supposed to be for everyone ?

What's so non-inclusive about Wallace & Gromit? Everyone likes them.

Superman Returns has evening premiere written all over it. I'd say 8pm Boxing Day. I think Pirates will be the big Christmas Day movie and Curse Of The Were-Rabbit on Christmas Eve with the new half hour special on Christmas Day.

My prediction:
Superman Returns - Sunday December 21st 8pm after Antiques Roadshow.

Madagascar and Wallace and Gromit Curse - Christmas Eve

Narnia and new Wallace Adventure - Christmas Day

Pirates 2 - Boxing Day

Shark Tale - New Year's Eve

Starter For Ten - New Year's Day

Just my thoughts!
