£5m quid for that - and a rather gushing over reaction. Yes, it's a nice ad - with a nice (but predictable) twist, but it's hardly reinventing the wheel is it.

Predictable? I never saw it at all.

I think the fact I saw it online rather than on TV took away any magic for me - I didn't know the "twist" - just that it seemed to be the ad people were talking about this year.

At least it's not annoying (which, for some, is the appeal). The advert itself is OK.

Still not seen the Coke Trucks on the telly.

I like the new Iceland ad, a good remake.

They've been on Sky Sports - I saw it last Tuesday.

The rather badly re-edited Coca-Cola Trucks advert (which was first shown in 1997 with the badly re-edited version being aired for the first time sometime in the late 2000s) was shown during The X Factor last Saturday.

That Iceland advert is very annoying because the road sign in one shot is clearly not a real sign, it does not even use the correct font.

Has the Coke ad been converted to widescreen yet, as the versions I've seen in previous years have been 4:3 with black bars down the side?

What does 'we're keeping Manchester in mince pies' (and so on) mean? Also, the lady drops her t's right at the end.

It means Tesco is providing the people of Manchester with a plentiful supply of mince pies.

No, it is still in the 4:3 aspect ratio with black bars to the left and the right of the frame.

It's a nice remix of Fairytale of New York, a christmas song that's almost never used for stuff like this.
