Thanks for the link John. I love Angelos on Shooting Stars, but seems he's much better being a character on a main show rather than as the centre of attention. Don't think it really worked. Bit of a shame really. I cringed a lot.
A bit belated, but does anyone know what BBC America did for Christmas pres in 2011?
I know in past years they have just carried the BBC1 idents - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xngjURlIAfQ - but I guess they didn't this time as a lot of the celebs in the Cake ident wouldn't really be known to US audiences.
Final Christmas Day ratings are out from BARB, and a few shows just edged above 10 million after all. Doctor Who jumps from fourth in the overnights to second in the finals:
1. EastEnders 11.33 (BBC)
2. Doctor Who 10.77 (BBC)
3. Downton Abbey 10.67 (ITV)
4. Coronation Street 9.92 (ITV)
5. Absolutely Fabulous 9.07 (BBC)
6. Strictly Come Dancing 8.50 (BBC)
7. Michael McIntyre's Christmas Comedy Roadshow 8.09 (BBC)
8. The Gruffalo's Child 7.64 (BBC)
9. Emmerdale 6.73 (ITV)
10. The Queen's Speech 6.69 (BBC, but a couple million on ITV too)
The ITV1 figures are wrong as you have to add ITV1 HD into them seperately. BBC1 HD is automatically included within the BBC1 figures, as follows:
1. Downton Abbey 11.59 (ITV)
2. EastEnders 11.33 (BBC)
3. Doctor Who 10.77 (BBC)
4. Coronation Street 10.51 (ITV)
5. Absolutely Fabulous 9.07 (BBC)
6. Strictly Come Dancing 8.50 (BBC)
7. Michael McIntyre's Christmas Comedy Roadshow 8.09 (BBC)
8. The Gruffalo's Child 7.64 (BBC)
9. Emmerdale 6.73 (ITV) (plus around an extra 0.4m on HD)
10. The Queen's Speech 6.69 (BBC, but a couple million on ITV too)[/quote]
