Christmas Television 2011

Got my hands on a TV Times now looking for Radio Times, so far 3 newsagents and nothing

STV have launched their Christmas presentation. Logos and idents are the same as last year:

After purchasing my Radio Times for Mum and TV and Satellite Week for myself, I can quite frankly say Christmas TV this year is an absolute turn off - apart from 20:00 - 23:00 on Christmas Day. BBC 1 has Strictly at 8, followed by Downton on ITV1 at 9.

SOME Xmas day highlights:

* Towering inferno

I have also notice that some of the Xmas tv guides are out and there useless as there dont have any STV opts or BBC scotland opts!

I hope Downton does well on Christmas Day, I worry it will flop as its going up against Eastenders which usually get the highest amount of ratings on Christmas Day unfortunately. Either that or Doctor Who.

I used to buy those ONLY to see who the newsreaders were going to be over the festive. No other reason.

How sad was I? LOL.

Ended up getting Radio Times and TV and Satellite Week for 55p more than in the shops with delivery online so not bad

Do any have Scottish listings in them?

I know it's been discussed in the past but the music channels are showing a live performance of "Merry Christmas Everyone" by Slade, anyone know which TV programme this is from or is this the actual music video?
