I notice BBC1 are currently showing a supernatural horror film as the family Christmas Eve afternoon premiere. Surely this has to change right? Kids will go to bed terrified on the most magical night of the year otherwise.

I was thinking the same. That can't be right! Also is The Great Gatsby on BBC2 the DiCaprio one or the Redford one?

I doubt it, it's a 15. Why would they show it at 15:50?

I think it's more than likely to be Dreamworks Home. To quote Wikipedia.

At the Devil's Door (originally titled Home ) is a 2014 American horror film directed by Nicholas McCarthy.

Dreamworks Home fits the slot.

Admittedly I have no idea how scheduling is put together but I think that whatever software they use to make the guide still has At the Devil's Door under the name Home and that Digiguide renamed it to it's correct title after reading the EPG description?

I actually looked at this last night and Digiguide was showing the Redford one but it could have matched it in error this far in advance.

DigiGuide will do that, so although I'm not home right now to check the description, this may well be the case.

I'll raise listings issues later with DigiGuide to get both of them checked.

TOTP is on early on Christmas Day. No more “And next - the Queen” signoff.

Wasn't on before The Queen last year, either.

In the nineties it often wasn't in the 2pm slot - it was at 12.55 in 1995 and 12.50 in 1998, among others.

No it was on at 1:50, which is practically the same slot.

I’m sure I just spotted Gone Girl in a trailer for Christmas on BBC1. Where will that go?

Thanks dvboy. Wasn’t expecting on BBC as it’s 20th Century Fox but remembered it’s Regency so I think that possibly explains why Noah and The Great Gatsby are on BBC.

Actually I just don’t know anymore! Laughing

The Great Gatsby is actually in the BBC2 schedule twice, on Christmas Eve and at 23:45 on Friday 29th, so perhaps they are showing both versions.
