Anyways I think this Christmas Schedule is fake

My reason is because it says for New Years Eve (18:20 - Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway)

But New Years Eve is on a Sunday

So I think the Schedule is fake.

Might not be but that's my opinion.

This is what's on DigiGuide. Whether it's what ends up being broadcast is another matter but I'm not making up schedules. I suspect some of these details will change over the next couple of weeks.

I wasn't saying you where

I'm saying DigiGuide might have got it wrong.

It's too random a programme for someone to have randomly chosen to place there so its either some kind of in joke (very unlikely) or what they were told was the schedule by ITV.

DigiGuide just put out what ITV provide them.

Anyway, I've delved a little deeper into the SNT listings, it's a two-parter over that weekend, the title has been split in two.

ENTERTAINMENT: Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway
On: itv Central
Date: Saturday 30th December 2017 (starting in 30 days)
Time: 19:30 to 20:00 (30 minutes long)
Presents... The Missing Crown Jewels.

ENTERTAINMENT: Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway
On: ITV Central HD (178)
Date: Sunday 31st December 2017 (starting in 31 days)
Time: 18:20 to 18:50 (30 minutes long)
Presents... Who Shot Simon Cowell?

Here's Saturday 30 in full.

Just a rehash of those Ant & Dec sketches from the last 2 series repackaged into 30 minutes.

ITV looks like a repeat of Christmas 2016 with Harry Potter practically every day / night from Christmas Eve to New Years Eve.

But lacklustre all round really.

I'm slightly confused on what The NFL Show is doing on the 23rd, as it covers the Thursday game(s). But there isn't one that week. It couldn't cover the games from the Sunday/Monday of the week before as it's not long enough to fit all the highlights for that.

There is a game on the 23rd, but it would be playing while The NFL Show is on air, and Sky Sports have the rights to that game, so they couldn't be covering that.

Then there's games on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day which would give them time to produce a highlights show for near midnight on Boxing Day (the usual timeslot for weekend games). But there isn't a show scheduled then. I'm assuming that's scheduled for the 27th?

When do we find out who's doing the alternative Christmas message?

Very late in recent years. They've got to ask Trump surely. Or Alec Baldwin.

Can't answer the one about the 23rd, there's nothing in the listing to suggest anything special, but you're right about the 27th.

SPORT: NFL
On: BBC Two HD (102)
Date: Thursday 28th December 2017 (starting in 28 days)
Time: 0:25 to 1:15 (50 minutes long)
This Week.
Live coverage of the National Football League in America.

That line up is awful, but we have to see what and see what, since the companies will be doing some horse trading for slots. Plus Glasgow will make be making some minor changes. etc ITV has NEVER had amazing Christmas Line-Up, ever in the last 20 years.
