Will that actually be shown? I only ask because the BBC said they would speak to Ronnie Barker's family first. Speaking of great comedy double acts, does anybody know if there will be a Morecambe & Wise Christmas Show repeat on BBC1 this year? I missed the 1976 one, which went out on Boxing Day last year at nine in the morning, and I was gutted!! Sad

Yes, they do tend to show Morecambe and Wise at the strangest of times. Mind you, considering some of the shows are nearly 30 years old - i'm not surprised.

I should imagine Morecambe and Wise will be shown sometime after boxing day as a filler. I think their Christmas slot will be taken by The Two Ronnies.

But didn't they show an old Eric & Ernie and old Two Ronnies Christmas shows last year on BBC1?

9 in the morning, isn't that Animal Park time?!

If we are predicting xmas schedules, I predict that Animal Park will follow Breakfast at least 5 days this Christmas!

Presuming if it's like last year, if there are days when BBC News will still go out at 1.00pm, then I predict Keeping Up Appearances at 12.30pm.

I don't know why, but I thought ITV was alot better than the BBC last Christmas, there wasn't much on that I liked, where as ITV kept to a near normal schedule, a few gameshows here and there, some ok-ish repeats and the reappearance of Mr Bean in Prime Time.

The BBC have been showing the Christmas specials from Eric & Ernie and The Two Ronnies in the mornings or afternoons on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day for the last few years. Hopefully they'll show The Two Ronnies from 1973, don't know about Morecambe & Wise because they seem to have shown all of them.

Last year's Morecambe and Wise was a bit of a fiasco - the BBC and five mananged to both show Christmas specials from two seperate years (the five one being a Thames production) which appeared to have a very similar script. The same sketches being performed with different guests etc.
